Virpiniemi Training Center

At Haukipudas next to Oulu city there is Virpiniemi Training Center, which is a famous for it's education possibilities for sports. They arrange also short term courses and lectures from time to time.

The center has golf course, soccer fields, ski jumping are and very good possibilities for xc skiing and running plus also mountain biking. The area has lot of nice trails and even some hills, which is not so common here in Oulu region. Last year they build new road going through the area including extra wide bike lane for roller blading and other sports as running etc. The asphalt there is super smooth and there is also this kind of funny rest places here and there.
