St. John's Neighborhood

Having been home-bound by icy conditions for the past two days, it was a treat to visit with blip friends. The St. John’s neighborhood is located on a peninsula at the confluence of the Columbia and Willamette Rivers close to Portland. Portlanders are proud of their coffee, and the owner of St. John’s Coffee shop explained his various roasts with pride.  The knitters were gathered around a table, needles flying, the poets collected in the corner, taking turns at the podium, and we blip friends and patrons enjoyed it over conversation and coffee.
