Yet another new visitor!

Horray!!! At last I have seen a Red Admiral this year .... & on my Buddleia :-)

It spent quite a while in the garden so ..... camera in hand ..... I was stalking it to try to get a good angle.

Mad woman in garden ..... camera to face ...... "open your wings ..... please ..... open them & keep them open just long enough .... please .... open your wings" ..... If any of the neighbours could hear me they would have been sending for a straight jacket!!!

Finally ..... it opened its wings & I got a reasonable shot .... hope you like it :-)
