Day 282- Surfers Paradise

Abit wonky cause I had to stand in the road haha but I made it! D came to pick me up this morning and we headed off, so strange seeing him behind a wheel! But turns out he's a good driver! Only just over a hour and we were here! We had a little wander around and in a soveniour shop, there were these kangaroos and if you spoke to them they jumped up and down and repeated what you said. I was in absolute stitches! Brilliant invention. We then went to aquasplash! I said to the lady 'is it normal of people out age to come and have a go?' And she just smerked and said yeah. And now I know why!! It's bloody well hard! Haha so basically it is a huge inflatable assault course on the water, the kids were showing me up! Haha such good fun though. We then hurried back to catch the twilight cruise along the river $20 and included cheese and biscuits! Which I took full advantage of! Yummmm. The houses along the river are insane ranging from 1-12million! I'm the way back the lady over the speaker said 'can you see the white house with the curved roof? That's Jackie Chan's mum's holiday house.' Haha oh yeah?! Appartently they fell in love with surfers and bought a cheeky little holiday home right over the river. Bonkers! When we got back I heard this 'jade!' Only bloody Hannah! So nice to be back with the lemon! So we all jumped in the car and D drove us to see the spit at night , which was lovely. As we were walking back we got talking to a guy that had set up camp on the top of his jeep, which was such a cool set up, me and Hannah climbed up the ladders and had a little nosey around.
