Rock with a view
After a frosty start the sun came out and went out to a little headland to check out work that had been done near one of our favourite beaches. Lots of burning and clearing had been going on but it all looked fine, a new wall built and a bit of rustic landscaping. This gives you a different view of Kitchen Cove - can you see the little red boat? The rather nice house to the far right is the big house, home to Mr N and to the left of him are the pub gardens and further to the left another friend who keeps geese and hens. We're almost the next house along but we don't have sea views as there is a field and another house before us. Oyster catchers, curlews, cormorants and a lone egret our companions today.
Other than that it was mild enough to do a spot of gardening - tons of leaves to be swept, paths cleared - all accompanied by the loud warbling of Chirpy.
