Christmas market, Ravenna gorge

Staying in Hinterzarten, Black Forest, this weekend, it was an easy hop on the shuttle bus to go see the Xmas market at the Ravenna gorge, which is really one of the nicest markets I have ever been to. Located underneath a giant viaduct that is illuminated in changing colors and sometimes has a red train going overneath, you can walk by the blue-illuminated stream, buy mulled wine or "Feuerzangenbowle", all different kinds of treats and food, or even bread dough on a stick that you can hold over one of the big log fires burning throughout the market. A very cosy atmosphere!  

The day was spent walking around the Titisee (the "small tits lake" as my big brother calls it, swimming in a heated outdoor pool and getting a chinese massage - the guy said I will have muscle ache the next day, and I believe so, too!  Dinner before the Xmas market was very good as well.
