Zürich Silvesterlauf

We did it! First time participating in a (fun) race. The Zurich Silvesterlauf. 40st time it took place with > 20'000 runners all day in badges. We started at 0530pm in the category happy runners with max. 70 minutes allowed to finish the 9.7km. It was a wonderful, unique atmosphere with the Christmas lights and lot's of people cheering the participants along the route during the 4 rounds in the old town.

Abhijeet, my friend from Kansas, landed at noon and joined us for the run. He also invited us afterwards for a delicious Thai / Japanese dinner.
