Through the Window Again
I thought I might get out for a walk this afternoon but I was so busy all day that it never happened. I'm glad I took some pictures through the window this morning or I would be scrambling for a blip right now. House Finches are the most frequent visitors to our feeders year around. Now that it's cold, though, we have had Chickadees, Red breasted Nuthatches, Juncos, Downy Woodpeckers and Flickers every day as well and we can watch them all day through our living room window. That makes me happy! Mr. Finch is perched on our squirrel proof feeder. It really works if the squirrels don't manage to knock it down and break it like they did the last one. If anything heavier than a bird gets on it, the frame moves down and closes the holes. :-)
