Josh caught crabs.

Last full day in Whitby - so another jaunt to Robin Hood's Bay via the beach, where we caught some crabs (then put them back unharmed).

A total scorcher so we sat in the pub on the shore for a few then headed to the chipper.

(Sidenote: All the chip shops round here a do 'scratchings' - it's like all little bits of batter that fall off the other stuff, which they collect up and you can get sprinkled on your chips for 2op. They're amazing! I cannot understand why they have failed to take off outside of North Yorkshire...)

Then back up the hill to the grandparents where loads of family and old friends had landed for dinner and drinks.
