MonoMonday 151...........Found
This iron silhouette represents the Nyungah people who found this part of the Swan River thousands of years ago. They called the area Goordaandalup. We now call it Pelican Point. Goordaandalup means "Place of married or betrothed people, courtship and smoking ceremonies.
I reckon there are still plenty of courtships taking place along this stretch of river after dark, and smoking ceremonies too! Although the smoking may be a different ceremony ;)
I have now finished back blipping and am up to date.......hooray :))
