Too Close, Too Fast?
Might not have been that but could be on the phone while driving, fiddling with the radio, trying to light a cigarette, peel a banana, could be a million things that distracted the driver. Personally, knowing what people are like on Abbeymead Avenue, Gloucester, it will be driving too close and too fast.
The car in front had stopped because another vehicle was already on the roundabout so had right of way. This white car rammed into the back of the car that had stopped.
We were in the house at the time it happened and Marlane heard the 'Crunch' sound so I went out to the side of our house to see the two cars stopped on the roundabout threshold. They were out of their cars, no arguing and all seemed well so I didn't go over.
The accident happened last night but this was taken this morning so the Seat is obviously immobilised and had been pushed around the corner to await recovery.
N.B. While I have no sympathy for this Seat driver I have blocked out the registration plate as you never know nowadays, you have to respect privacy.
