Flawless and emotionally exhausting

Madame Butterfly at La Scala. Maria Jose Siri was exceptional in what is such a relentlessly demanding role. All the cast were stunning, the choreography gorgeous, the set simple perfection and the, costumes incredible. That little boy will have a head and heart full of music as he grows up. She poured her emotion directly into him as she sang and it melted our hearts until they spilled out in tears. Am I sounding a bit over dramatic? Well I wish you could have been there too.
