Canalside reflections
Through Bridge 63 on the Shropshire Union Canal on a very mizzly evening - I'm on foot, not on a narrowboat!! and just come back from a lovely lunch and long catch up with Cheshire friend who has a beautiful Late C16 or C17 Listed Timber framed house which looked absolutely gorgeous all dressed up for Christmas. After a fabulous lunch cooked by friend, gluten free cheese scones to accompany a hearty chicken and veg stew, I came home with a handtied foliage wreath made by friend, a small Christmas tree (grown by her son) and a pot of friend's honey - lucky me.
On the way home I stopped off at the Canal for a quick walk and a breath of fresh damp air.
Once home it's back to yet more sax practise and yet more C.Card writing!
