Rare Sighting!!

Wow, a Wombat at 6.30am in the morning.  This is indeed a rare sighting at Wombat Hollow.  I had just got up to make the early morning cuppa and nearly fell over when I looked out the kitchen window to see this Wombat wandering around outside the window.  I had CCN on "Wombat Watch" upstairs while I raced to get my camera.  This was the best opportunity I had before our little namesake took off up the bush track.

Wombats are rarely seen around here during the daytime.  We're not as fortunate as Jackie French the popular Australian Author.  Jackie regularly received wombat visitors during the day at her property south of Sydney. The lucky duck!!
