I Hate Snow!

Finding food under deep snow is a challenge for many birds and animals in winter. This young deer came up to the house and scavenged sunflower seeds that had dropped from the bird feeders, and then wandered over to nibble on the tips of the oak branches. Some years we've seen no snow, yet this year we've received about 21 inches to date.
