Skytower, Auckland

Overnight flight to Auckland from Singapore arrived a bit late but good to be here especially as No 2 son was at the airport to meet us.  It was the most emotional reunion as we hadn't seen each other for 7 months.  Great.

He drove us into the city to our hotel.  We had a short while with him as he had to get back to Hamilton for Sim practice.

Jet lag was kicking in again so we showered and changed and went for a walk around the city centre and had something to eat near the harbour.

Spoke to my brother on the phone this evening and it was really good to catch up with him.  We will be seeing him and his family next week.

Really tired now.
