"Shells" by Jeff Thomson (2002)

Last Council Meeting of 2006 2016 started today; with a half hour delay in the flight leaving Auckland. Finished the day a little earlier than usual so that we could meet with the staff, and thank them over wine and nibbles for all the work they have done during the year. Then a walk to the hotel. On the way I saw this sculpture on Lambton Quay, brighter in the late afternoon light than I usually see it. Will do as my blip for today.
The extra was taken on a short run before going out with the group for dinner.
