Tea for Two...Meet Freddy and Fancy Zebra Finches

Last October Edward found a male Zebra Finch on our patio looking lost and hungry. It was going after the millet seed we put out for doves and finches.He caught Freddy and have since got a mate for him, Fancy. We let them out of the cage once a week to fly free in one room away from the cats. Pumpkin is amused by them but not interested but Sophie is another matter, still young and very interested.Safely in an enclosed room they can fly and have some time outside the cage. Here, they were resting on a tea cup up on the book case with a water colour painting I picked up in the Lake District a few years ago in the background.
