Progress!

You'll need to go large if you want to see what's happened here. To start off with, the containers around the bottom of the cliffs have all gone. The new berm is exposed now, and it looks as though there are places for some plantings. That berm is colossal. Apparently there's a huge gully between the cliff and berm, in case of cliff collapse in future earthquakes. This is an incredible repair job. I'm sure the expertise will be useful in Kaikoura now.
After nearly 6 years it's going to take a while to get used to those containers not being there. I love the new wide expansive look.
