Everyday I Write The Book

Blown away

A lot of these fizzer balloons around at the office Christmas lunch today. They were quite entertaining. Something a bit Harry Potter about inanimate objects flying unpredictably through the Hogwartian rafters of an old Surrey hotel, rasping rudely before flopping limply into someone's coffee cup (yes that did happen).

Before that we had a three hour team meeting, at the same hotel. The wind and rain were blowing around Boxhill and it was all a bit Dickensian, in a rather grim way; so we had earned our lunch by the time it came to it.

Quite a jolly affair; bit of rudeness (long balloons - what can you say), community singing, dodgy photographs of people blowing kisses, bad cracker jokes ... as usual they didn't know how to cater for vegetarians and we had to lobby for more veg to keep our spirits up but generally people were happy with the food.

Lots of travel talk with The Dizzle tonight which was really good. But exhausted again come 8pm; along with many others I am seriously under par health wise at the moment. But I am keeping on going ... after all it is the season to be jolly.

This is the whole album on google.
