Morning Sunshine Ovet da New Nort Dock
A frosty morning, and frozen car! It's been a stunning day, all day and night. Lovely winter sunshine, and clear skies continued tonight.
I've been in the museum office all day. There's loads of Christmas photo orders coming in now, and been processing them quickly, to keep customers happy. I've also been busy scanning photos, and mostly from the Bobby Mowat collection. The fine day gave plenty of walking opportunities, and yarns along the way with various folk about Lerwick. After tea, we got a neighbourhood tree covered in lights :) I then went off around Scalloway delivering my Christmas cards, with a stop off for a cuppa with Madeline, and mam popped by her too. Off to work in the pub again tonight.
A beautiful day, and a beautiful sunrise. I missed the best of the colours, but as I came into work, the golden glow was marvellous. Taken from the Lerwick marina, looking towards the Nort Dock, with the Adenia LK 193, the Research LK 62 and then the Northlink ferry.
