Female Brambling.

A morning round home while Clickychick was busy with yet more funeral arrangements.  Knowing I was going into town to visit my brother in the afternoon I decided to try for some bird shots for today's blip.

During the winter we get the occasional Brambling visiting the feeders but coming from (in general)  remote northern forests.   Fortunately today we had the girls' dolls house in front of the window being revamped for our granddaughter.  This meant my movements to get the camera and sort it out were hidden.  I managed to use the dolls house as a hide while I peeped over the roof and managed this shot through the window.
