Hospital de la Santa Creu i de Sant Pau

Just one of the many beautiful parts of this wonderful former hospital and its grounds. Really lovely place to visit and worth the long (to me) walk in my new shoes. 
Fascinating to learn about its history with the concern for patients' well-being and recovery, and to see areas such as old operating rooms, etc. It was in use until relatively recently.
Extremely kind and helpful staff.
