Don't mind if I do!

It's been a long time since I travelled first class on the train but for £6 more than standard class to get from Glasgow to Yorkshire and back it was an offer I couldn't really refuse.

First class certainly seems to have improved a bit over the years. Two jovial chaps seem hell bent on plying me with cans of Old Speckled Hen and feeding me Smoked Haddock Mornay pie. The free wifi is a pleasant surprise too.

I reckon I'm going to feel quite merry by the time I get to Northallerton...
