Concrete Playground

Elementary School, Hamilton, Ontario

I worked with two kindergarteners which was exciting. They were a handful. They were both 4 years old, one was nonverbal but could get some words out when I had him repeat them back to me. I also had to name things ie: Chair, this is a chair. The other one was behavioural . I like these ones because I can be just as stubborn as them. I never back down from a request. right from the get go I let them know that I'm the one in charge and they can do what they need to do then they get a positive reinforcement. I have never had a child not like me, so knock on wood.

All in all we got all tasks done and I even got two big hugs as the end of the day. So yeah... I'm back at this school again on Friday and all of next week. Let's see if I can get some more hugs at the end of the day.
