A terrific day in Edinburgh.

We treated ourselves to lunch at The Dome (on George St) and it was fabulous; great food in opulent surroundings.

I went daft with the A6000, taking photos of everything that moved, or didn't move, but I am a little disappointed with some of the outcomes.

Not 100% sure if it's operator error or there is something wrong with parts of the gear I have. Anyhoo, I'll work it out. Meantime, you can't really beat the iPhone for clear close-ups, such as the Blip.

I do find that sometimes the magic of the phone camera tops the more expensive equipment I have invested in.

I'm perhaps concentrating on the technicalities rather than the subject.
