New teaching assistant!`

What a glorious day it has been here....the humidity has gone, the sun shone and there was a lovely light breeze, just perfect! Lots of activity around this place, just for a change!!!

I made a couple of big loads of pesto.....still have a mountain of basil to deal with. I reckon if I try and put away 2 batches a day i'll get thro it no problem...... i'm also starting to give plants away! i get so excited in the spring and plant way more than i need....of most things! oh well, it does last well in the freezer and it is so amazing on pasta, pizza and potatoes.....i'm sure there are other things that don't begin with P that i can combine with pesto....???

Here are Julie (my new teaching assistant) and Victor, having a try at throwing on the wheel! It's hard enough trying to explain the subtleties of throwing on the potter's wheel, without having to deal with a language issue! But they managed, and had a great time trying! They will be leaving us on Thursday, it will be very sad to see them go!
