Beachy Head
The spaniel and I got dropped off in Eastbourne so that we could have a six hour linear walk west along the coast. We went up and over Beachy Head, passing this fresh bunch of white roses which had been left in the grass near one of the spots where each year more than 20 people commit suicide by jumping from the 535 foot high chalk cliffs. Fortunately the only people we saw jumping today were paragliders.
