Saved by a Tree

The best of the weather was going to be this morning so I got out as soon as I could but the light was gone. I took a walk through some woodland at Little Haldon but wasn't excited by the results. I've put a few up here if you're so inclined. 

I'd noted this sliver birch as I passed by so stopped on the way back. I like the tree but it's the little ones on the skyline in the distance that I really like. I commented on a similar pic by my friend Ann (AH14) yesterday and she replied that a tree came to the rescue. I was thinking of that and I liked the phrase 'saved by a tree' which I used for the title.
