Salmon Dave

So, this morning, I had to cross a river on a bike and I had a fox, a bag of grain, a chicken and an Audi TT to ferry across. Bike on the top of the car to the garage, cycle home, get in another car, drive to work.

By good planning, I had the work Christmas lunch on the same day as the Monday football Christmas Dinner. This happened last year as well. But, at least this year, they weren't at the same place.

When I got the menus, I must have thought that it was best to have something light so, at lunch, I had mackerel for starters followed by salmon. And, in the evening, in another bit of good planning, smoked salmon followed by, err, salmon.

And Sam and Dave were at football.
