Goldilocks
This clematis seedhead reminds me of a pot scourer called Goldilocks popular some years ago.
I woke during the night to find it almost as light as day - there must have been a full moon shining through gaps in the curtains. It crossed my mind that I should try to capture that ghostly effect but common sense won.
When I woke this morning, it was raining and it was enough to thoroughly wet this clematis seed head in a corner of the rose garden. The roses looked lovely too with their quota of drops, but it was the seed head that appealed to me most.
