A view from my childhood
Every morning, before anything else, this is what I saw - out across Swansea Bay to the harbour. Often, then, there were ships - now it is rare to see much under the cranes. The Dry Dock where I stood and marvelled beneath ocean-going freighters - tiny beneath the steel keel plates - is still labelled.I wonder what grounded there last.
