St Felix
landed at Babingley in circa AD 615 and was apostle to the East Angles. He is depicted here sculptured in wood along with various other exhibits on the Sandringham estate which form a sculpture trail. Legend has it that his landing was difficult and he was rescued by beavers, one of which is shown standing to his immediate left.
The weather today is heavily overcast, a bit misty, and the ground muddy so everything had an almost monochromatic look anyway, so black and white seemed the way to go.
