Dips and Valleys

I know this isn't the best picture. But I wanted to try and capture the depth of this cloud. And then I questioned myself if a cloud can have 'depth'.

I've been in airplanes and flown through clouds. Can mist, rain, the 'fog' of a cloud have actual depth?

I liked the colors and the appearance of depth.
