My fabulous bookclub
This is us in the midst of a Japanese dinner. Heather and I served up four courses according to tradition. First one is raw: sashimi; second one is grilled; salmon and pumpkin; third one is simmered: ninjin hot pot; fourth one: rice and pickles. Then dessert : broke with tradition and served Mario's gelato in green tea flavour. Wonderful annual Christmas event. The book was Nutshell by Ian McEwen. Funny, weird, and not sure how or why I would recommend unless you had nothing else to read.
Editing note: I posted my flag picture on this day by mistake. When I fixed it I couldn't move the comments. So that is why they don't match. ;-(
