The lovely City of Jorvik as viewed from top of the York Minster Tower. Yes, I made it to the top without injury! I did get told off by the powers that be for obstructing the passage way between the top end of the tower and the 2nd flight of stairs down to the Ground floor. I blame my camera for being trigger happy! :)

York Minster is one magnificent building. Every inch was a work of art. My brain however cannot begin to imagine how much money is spent on maintaining (restoring) the place. I'm glad I got to see it although a few hours was just not enough to take it all in. There was just too much art work and history crammed in that big place! I reckon even a month would be too short! Before leaving I got to listen to the choir and the organ play. Such beautiful music! I truly love York, including its ghost stories and fake and cheesy magic tricks of the ghost hunters! :)
