Happy Holly Days!

This is a Santa I made for Mom the first year she moved here. I wanted  her room to be festive for the "holly days". She left her door open so everyone could enjoy Santa as much as she did. 

I had cut the pieces out when we lived in Oregon over 18 years ago. They resided in the garage with every intention of painting and putting them together. The motivation to finish what I had started was Mom moving here four years ago. 

The extra is of Mom & Santa last year. Sweet memories.

I am grateful for the time we shared with Mom close to us and the memories that come from the things that surrounded her.
