St Gabriel

I love stained glass - in fact all glass fascinates me.
Today i spotted this beautiful stained glass window displayed on the wall of a corridor at Darent Valley Hospital. It was originally in West Hill Chapel Dartford which once housed two stained glass windows by Charles Eamer Kempe. St Michael was destroyed by a bomb in 1940, that caused immense damage to the adjoining hospital , and St Gabriel was removed in 1998 when the chapel closed. Darent Hospital opened in september 2000.
