Birmingham Library

Daughter in Law Kelly and I caught the train into Birmingham this morning. Our day started with coffee in John Lewis. It was lovely to catch up with hildasrose and we'll be seeing each other again tomorrow - bonus.

We strolled the Christmas Market, went to the library, found the Secret Garden and Shakespeare's room had lunch in the Rep Restaurant and then decided to go to the Museum and Art Gallery of Birmingham.

The icing on the delicious cake of our day was seeing the Staffordshire Hoard. So exciting!!
