Lo! A Tree!

Today we indulged in a family tradition which dates back about 30 years - going to nearby Chopwell Woods to choose and buy our Christmas tree. (I think most of their Christmas trees actually come from Norway, but it seems right somehow to get it from the woods.) There are lots of waymarked trails in the woods, so we took our boots with us and had a nice walk afterwards.

The main blip shows Son #3 indicating the tree which he thought was best (I think that's the one we ended up buying). The extra shows Son#1 and his wife admiring a different tree. We'll wait until Son#2 arrives early next week before decorating it, as they're keen to do it together.
