Yesterday's tree will probably be destined for the shredder after Christmas and a life of only a few years. This young oak tree however will hopefully be around for the next few centuries. It will be planted to commemorate the birth of baby "Oakling" and perhaps his future descendants will collect acorns from beneath its branches.
