Vintage nativity

I spent the day getting ready for the festive season. Two trees and a variety of other bits and bobs later I remembered this little nativity set which I'd brought up from clearing mum's house. It was given to me more than sixty years ago by one of my parents' close friends and graced an alcove at the house in Bannockburn for all those years. My mum had offered it to me many times over the years but I always refused knowing that I would only rehome it when I had no other choice. 2016 was that year.
