Christmas is coming

Tonight was our local Christmas parade. Ours is always unconventional with lots of the floats taking a crack at politics both local and national. Tonight there were a couple of them taking a crack at Donald Trump and of course some Christmas ones, Santa Claus throwing out lollies and Fonterra giving out cartons of flavoured milk to the children.

These dressed up miniature ponies caught my attention as well as the young guy on the unicycle in extra. How he balances on that thing I don't know.
After the parade we sang carols on the village green. A beautiful evening added to the occasion, so tonight in our town all is right with the world.
