Stocking up
It was unusually quiet at the Bridge café today. Those who did turn up got a treat however. A taxi driver came in with a huge and wonderfully light Victoria sponge and a shop had donated doughnuts so there was much more on offer than the usual soup, drinks, biscuits and toast. I took the opportunity to call in at the windmill and restock on flour supplies for the next few months. I though I would experiment with spelt and rye flour too. In the afternoon I made a couple of venison cottage pies before watching some cricket highlights.
