Hamish
Well in my last dash to get the remaining presents I took a few minutes out to "shoot" Hamish.
He is currently watching over Murrayfield as a mascot for the upcoming Edinburgh - Glasgow derby on Boxing day. Edinburgh have borrowed the sculpture painted in the team's colours of Black and Red.
"Hamish" the stag was release into the wilds of the M8 on Sunday 19th October to join the red coloured sheep that have grazed the Pyramids Business park for the last year or so. Originally created for Highland by sculptor Andy Scott, who was also responsible for the M8 heavy horse, Hamish has spent the last few years grazing in various locations. Hamish has been protected by Highland?s unique Colourgalv process, involving hot dip galvanizing and powdercoating. Hamish is known to be a wanderer though, and its likely that he?ll pop up somewhere else soon.
