Who'da thunk ...

Or, if you prefer plain English, who'd have thought that the day which began so dark and dreary would end thus! After a celebratory lunch at Benmore (my bestie's birthday) and a damp walk in the gardens, we found ourselves home again just as the sky to the west began to lighten. And so it was that, half an hour later, we found ourselves walking along the Ardyne shore path with this wonderful sunset over Bute to look at.

And I can't tell you how much better I feel after that!
