Odd light towards Thrupp

I watched the approach of bright light above the mists as I looked out from my desk across the lower Horns valley towards Thrupp. 

I love our views in winter when the outline of the ancient 'way' running down from the old Weyhouse ruins becomes more pronounced. Beyond it Oakey Grove lies on the banks of the stream, whose source is a 'spout' about three hundred yards uphill at The Heavens. Ferney Close and Home Piece meadows separate the streams from the hamlet of Thrupp and the tick ancient woodlands lying on the edge of the Golden Valley. I like to give these places their old names to try and keep them in use.
