A different light show

Not as spectacular as last night's sunset but high excitement - our solar Christmas lights arrived today and were installed on top of our ruin. Doesn't set the world of Gearradubh alight but is some sign of a Christmas effort.
More excitement was a first visit to the fish and chip van now operating on the isles. Waiting outside in the wind and rain for 50 minutes wasn't the best bit but the fish and chips themselves were excellent - proclaimed "Even better than Cornwall" by Tricia.
Knit and natter in the Westford tonight so the knitting widows had to sit and drink beer accompanied by the local music college students playing their stuff. All very genial.
