A Christmas Jumper Day

This is a lovely lady, a neighbour and friend. Every year she opens her beautiful garden in aid of Save The Children.

At Christmas she holds a Christmas Jumper Day for the same charity and that is where I went this morning. It was the usual coffee morning with home made Christmas biscuits, Bring and Buy etc. Lots of people turned up in Christmas jumpers, my neighbour had a particularly impressive one with flashing lights! I don't possess a  Christmas jumper but went in one in Christmas colours.

As always it was good to catch up with neighbours that are not seen so often at this time of year and to chat to people that I hadn'tmet before. All for a good cause too.
