A hint of the past - Inveraray

As I drove  into  Inveraray  this afternoon, coming from Lochgilphead in heavy rain and under leaden skies,  I glimpsed this view. 

I was so taken with what I thought I had seen that I parked and walked back in the rain to get this shot - the old "Arctic Penguin" still on the pier (waiting apparently to be taken away for conversion into a private yacht) and peeking out behind the jail.   

With the blue light it seemed almost like a glimpse of the past, had it not been for the cars parked behind the tenements of Main St.
